Olympic National Park holds two UN designations

The Olympic National Park – 29 June 1938 as a national park; the Pacific Coastal Area and Queets River corridor were added on 6 January 1953. Accepted as a biosphere reserve in June 1976, and as a World Heritage site in 1981. – from the World Heritage website – http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/151
